The idea for this one came to me while doing a little grocery shopping when I lived in Tulsa, which I hardly ever did. My diet there consisted mostly of $5 Hot & Ready pizzas from Little Caesars and beer. There's a picture floating around somewhere of an embarrassing number of sacrificed pizza boxes that accumulated in the dining room of my old roommate and I's apartment to prove it. But I digress. While shopping, I thought I saw a girl I knew from back home, which I knew wasn't possible because I was half way across the country, and folks from my hometown, usually tend to stay in my hometown. She had a kid with her, and I conjured up this fictional story around the thought.
